![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BOOKHOOKER AGENCY & BUKKAKE RECORDS presents: DIMENSION SEVEN – Infinite Madness (new cd 2003) BIOGRAPHY, last updated March 2003 After the succesful release of their album '10 Ways to Hate' in March 2001 Netherlands' most brutal live-act Dimension Seven brings now: INFINITE MADNESS, an album which exceeds '10 way to hate' with a big leap forward. Dimension Seven plays expressive modern metal and has succeeded in capturing the loudness and expression of their live-shows on CD. Aggressively kicking songs full of groove, passion and technical and organically heights are being distorted and cut through by maniacal vocals. From the lowest depths of life and themselves Dimension Seven pushes the listener far back in his chair with their extremely heavy, aggressive and uncompromising sound. Infinite Madness is about a completely insane world, a world full of sick paranoids who execute their razzes both on global level and in national, relational and family life. The 13 uncompromising songs have been recorded and mixed in Studio Harrow in Losser NL with top producer Marc ter Braak. Marc delivered a splendid mix by his achievement to combine an unusually extreme sound with audibility of every frequency area. Added to that the perfect mastering of Alan Ward at Electric City Studio, Brussels, Belgium and you reach a super sound in every stereo. The songs rage of anger and the lyrics go very deep and into the personal. In 'Dark' the sizzling guitars and self-destructive vocals drag you into unknown depths. Pure despair and misery are expressed to the very core. In 'Oprahganda' the insanity of the propagating American media is expressed by extreme noise. 'Democracy, Liberty, Enemy' deals with spontaneous violence and 'Infinite Justice' was inspired by the self-proclaimed owner of truth George Bush. 'Technology Related Anger' is about the ever advancing technology and the related frustrations that come with it. All in all INFINITE MADNESS is the final conclusion of all the lyrics together: The world has gone completely crazy and it's only a matter of time to see if this world will sustain.. March 2003 their own independent Bukkake Records releases Infinite Madness. The Dutch record company Suburban/Bertus supply distribution. April 2003 the Dimension Seven - 'Madness' tour starts with a presentation in hometown Arnhem, the Netherlands. A_Scene (2:46) ALSO AVAILABLE ON BUKKAKE RECORDS Artist: Dimension Seven - debut album: 10 WAYS TO HATE (2001) Ever since the birth of Dimension Seven, in the beginning of 1998, the band has focussed on live performance. This is characterized by freaky, hardcore, metalcore shows, artistically heights and a lot of attention for decoration of the stages in clubs. Dimension Seven is stubborn, with a clear own style, and an expressive live-appearance gives them the fast growing reputation of an energetic crazy live band. At the end of 1999 Dimension Seven is chosen as 'best live-act and winner of the audience' of the 'Great Price of the Netherlands' (de Grote Prijs van Nederland) The band continues playing till they've gathered enough money to record the debut-album '10 Ways to Hate' in the best possible conditions. In studio RS-29 with Oscar Holleman and Stephen van Haestregt (Within Temptation, Heideroosjes) they record a mud fat concept-album. Very positive reviews, a deal at Zomba and many cool shows followed. Summer 2002 the band quits playing live to concentrate on creating the follow-up. Again they choose for a top producer, Marc ter Braak, and an extremely kicking aggressive album is made, Dimension Seven's second giant baby is a fact: Infinite Madness. The album will be released 24 March 2003 by Suburban/Bertus Distribution in the Benelux. With INFINITE MADNESS Dimension Seven frees itself further from 'that what we already know' or 'the Status Quo' and is a strong independent collective that knows its path in music. Infinite Madness is extremely heavy and technical, but at the same time open. This allows the super fat ultra-low sound, the groove, the rythmics and the bomb of energy and sincere emotion to be used to the max and it will grasp you till the last second.... The Dimension Seven live-shows are solely praised, a show is always more than their sum of parts. One could place Dimension Seven in the corner of 'nu-Metal' but it wouldn't do justice to the band and their sound. Dimension Seven plays metal minded, more aggressive, more technical and most of all more creative than their colleagues in this genre. Dimension Seven tries to make the sick society think. With approximately 200 shows, the conquest of Aardschoks' Metal Bash 2000, Noorderslag 2001, video clips at TMF, European tours and supports (Soulfly, Machine Head, Papa Roach, American Head Charge, Agnostic Front), the NL Metal Fests 2002, Ozzfest NL 2002 (Tool, Ozzy, SLAYER) and now Infinite Madness, the battery is recharged to the max for kicking again LIVE. INFINITE MADNESS!! 2000 Dimension Seven played 52 shows, among these shows were shows with Machine Head, Papa Roach & Agnostic Front.
