De Arnhemse nu metal-groep bestaat al ruim 3 jaar en deed meer dan 140 optredens met ondermeer Papa Roach en Machine Head. Bovendien won het gezelschap de publieksprijs bij de Grote Prijs van Nederland en werd hij door de jury uitgeroepen tot beste live-act. De eerste plaat, geproduceerd door workaholic Oscar Holleman (Within Temptation, Krezip), is het overtuigende resultaat van noeste arbeid. Zanger Joke, drummer Spooky, gitarist 474c44 en bassiste P. uiten in tien furieuze nummers hun frustraties en gebruiken op Coal Chamber-en Meshuggah-leest geschoeide metal om hun ideeen kracht bij te zetten. Joke brult de longen uit zijn lijf terwijl de ritmesectie een dik pompende basis legt. Dimension Seven speelt in iedere track met de bekende hard/zacht contrasten, maar blijft verassend origineel. Juist door de voortdurende spanningsopbouw en onverwachte muzikale wendingen weet de band zich te onderscheiden van de nu metalmassa. Met de livereputatie zat het al goed. Door middel van 10 Ways To Hate bewijst Dimension Seven nu ook op plaat een van de beste heavy bands van Nederland te zijn. This nu-metal group from Arnhem exists over 3 years en did more than 140 gigs with bands like Papa Roach and Machine Head. Further more they won the audience award at the "Grote Prijs van Nederland" and the jury chose them to be the best live act. The first album, produced by worcaholic Oscar Holleman (Within Temptation, Krezip) is the convincing result of hard work. Singer Joke, drummer Spooky, guitarplayer 474c44 and bassplayer P express their frustration in ten furieus songs and use Coal Chamber, Meshuggah like metal to prove their power. Joke screams from bottom of his lungs while the rhythm section provides a solid base. Dimension Seven plays in every song with the well known soft/hard contrasts, but stays suprisingly original. Because of the way they build up tension and unforseen musical steps the band steps aside the nu-metal mass. The live reputation was already good. With 10 Ways To Hate Dimension Seven proofs on record that they are one of the best heavy bands of the Netherlands.
